Currie’s entrepreneurial spirit sparked early, evidenced by his first venture — a trash service at just eight years old. This early drive, coupled with a background in hospitality, laid the groundwork for his nearly decade-long immersion in the construction industry.
Currie acts as the General Contractor for every project. His experience spans a diverse range, from commercial buildouts to residential remodels, additions, custom barndominium projects, and all types of land development services. Recognizing an opportunity to innovate within residential construction, Currie founded ByrdsEye Builders with a focus on durable and sustainable steel framing.
Beyond the build itself, Currie established ByrdsEye Builders on a fundamental value: treating every client, partner, and vendor with the utmost respect and care. With over 25 years of experience in architectural design and drafting, she specializes in crafting thoughtful, buildable plans that bring both vision and precision to every project. Her work focuses on close collaboration to ensure each design is functional, well-detailed, and tailored to its unique goals. She takes pride in the technical aspects of drafting while maintaining a passion for personal and intentional design. Whether it’s a custom home, a spec project, or a full set of construction documents, she brings the same commitment to clarity and creativity for seamless execution.

Crema is our visionary Pawject Manager and the furry brains behind our operations! While she might not swing a hammer, her ‘paws-on’ approach to meticulous inspections is legendary.
Crema helps hold everyone on-site accountable and ensures that every project is built with the utmost precision. Her keen eye misses nothing, and she’s notoriously strict, not even a well placed treat can distract her from comprehensive site ‘paw-trol’ duties. When our team and tradesmen have had a frustrating day at the jobsite, Crema ensures our team morale remains high, and is always there to provide a wagging tail and guidance.
